Co-Instructors
Do you have an enterprise-wide training initiative and don’t want to accumulate the cost of a full time employee? ALT can assist by providing additional instructors. All ALT instructors are Journey Level Lineworkers and certified to teaching to adult learners. We will wear your uniforms, be expert on your curriculum and support your mission.
Curriculum Development

Courses
Rubber Glove Certification
Classroom and field instruction on work methods and techniques associated with rubber gloving. Special emphasis is placed on the principals of insulate, isolate, second points of contact and safe work methods.
Personal Protective Grounding Certification
Advanced course on grounding and bonding. Students will gain an understanding of personal protective grounding techniques and an in-depth understanding of methods and procedures.
Crew Leadership Certification
In-depth topics: Enhancing Job Safety, Effective Job Planning and Execution, Fostering Positive Working Relationships, Optimizing Decision-Making Processes, and Inspiring and Motivating Teams.
Advanced Transformers
Students will receive a broad overview of transformers and an in-depth understanding of operations, banking, paralleling and trouble shooting techniques. Wye and Delta system characteristics are incorporated into the learning.
Certified Technical Educator
Course is designed to help trainers increase instruction effectiveness by providing easy-to-implement tools that will revolutionize their training. Emphasis is placed on Blooms Taxonomy, Prossers Theorem, Implementation of practical strategies for training management and lesson planning
Trouble Investigation
Students will gain an understanding of trouble investigation techniques and an in-depth understanding of methods and procedures. Reclosers, sectionalizers, and other electrical equipment are incorporated into the learning.
